about this initiative. The team used social media applications like Facebook and
Whatsapp to disseminate information about the initiative. Discussions on how to take
this forward started through whatsapp groups of teachers.
Pre-primary education is an integral part of school education system in Sikkim. It was in
existence before the merger of Sikkim in Indian Union.
Now-a-days in Sikkim, the Pre-Primary Education is being provided by both the government
and private agencies like Human Resource Development Department, Social Justice,
